.bac - Binary Backup file format. ( filename extension bac ) .bak - Backup format often seen in the Windows OS. ( file extension bak ) .bas - Basic Language source code file format. This format contains program code written in the Basic computer programming language. ( file extension bas ) .bat - Batch file format. Files with the bat extension contain computer commands to be executed by your computer. The bat file is basically a series of executable comands. You can modify a bat file with a common text editor. ( filename extension .bat ) .bdf - Adobe Glyph Bitmap Distribution Format. ASCII-based file format used to store Adobe screen fonts as human-readable data.
